Empty Bowls meal raises money for Feed My People food bank

(WEAU) - People all over the Chippewa Valley supported the Feed My People food bank while enjoying a good meal Thursday.

It was the 13th annual Empty Bowls event at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire. You get a choice of five different soups and a hand-crafted bowl made by people in the community.

Organizers say they expected 1,600 people to have dinner, a 20% increase over last year.
