Extra skating sessions offered next week

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE) -- School’s out and skating’s in. The Eau Claire Parks and Recreation Department is offering additional skating sessions Monday, Feb. 17, and Tuesday, Feb. 18, while Eau Claire Area School District students have the day off from school.

Rink Rat Hockey for Mites and Squirts (ages 7-10) will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., while Peewee and Bantam players (ages 11-14) have the ice from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Admission is $3.

Open skating for all ages will be from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Monday’s open skating session will include popcorn and a movie. Admission is $3 or a single punch with the Eau Claire City Pass. Skate rental is included with admission.

All skating takes place at Hobbs Ice Center, 915 Menomonie St. For more information, contact Eau Claire Parks and Recreation staff at 715-839-5040.
