Fall Creek man pleads guilty to hit and run

(WEAU) - A man pleaded guilty to a hit and run crash that sent two people to the hospital in Altoona.

On-line court records show Michael Sveda, 48, of Fall Creek pleaded guilty to one count of hit and run involving injury, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. But that sentence will be stayed.

He was also sentenced to one year probation that will be withheld and will also have to pay restitution.

In September, police say Sveda hit a man in a wheel chair and a woman who was pushing him next to Whiskey's Bar and Grill.
