Fallen Wisconsin officers to be honored by Brewers

(WEAU) - Two local law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty will be honored by the Milwaukee Brewers on September 11th.

The team says on the anniversary of 9/11, they will pause to honor the sacrifice of six Wisconsin officers, including two from our area.

One is Chippewa County deputy Jason Zunker, who was hit and killed by a driver while directing traffic around a semi-fire in 2008 near Bloomer.

The other is State Patrol trooper Jorge Dimas of Amery, who was hit by a truck while trying to turn around on a highway in 2009.
