Father and son design new gateway for UW-Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) – There will be a new feature meeting people as they arrive on the UW-Stout campus.
A father and son team helped design the new gateway to the university and on Friday the finishing touches were put in place.
Jack and Mike Route, both u-w stout graduates, designed the gateway, which is at the intersection of First Avenue and Broadway Street.
It includes a large vertical flame made out of forged steel, which was made by Mike Route.
