UW-Barron County is a campus of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, an institution of the University of Wisconsin System comprised of 13 campuses and UW Colleges Online, that offers an Associate of Arts and Science degree and a single Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree, and prepares students of all ages and backgrounds for baccalaureate and professional programs.
RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) - There are now three finalists for CEO/dean of UW-Barron County.
The college announced the finalists on Friday. They are Emmanuel Awuah, who is vice president for academic and global initiatives at the State University of New York (SUNY) Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York, Aliesha Crowe, who is dean for industry, agriculture and energy at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, and Dean Yohnk, who is dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at UW-Parkside.
The new CEO/dean will succeed Paul Chase. He's retiring at the end of 2013 after more than 16 years in the position.
The finalists are expected to be on campus next month. Chancellor Ray Cross will name a new CEO/dean in October.
