Firefighters think a wood stove may have started a fire at a workshop in Boyd Monday afternoon.
Crews were called to the scene about three miles east of Cadott just before 2 p.m. Ron Patten, the fire chief for the Boyd-Edson-Delmar fire district says the building was used for woodworking. It was fully engulfed when crews got there and it took about a half hour to put out. There's no damage estimate yet, but he says the building is a total loss. Patten says the fire is not considered suspicious.
No one was hurt.
