First Lady Michelle Obama visits Wisconsin

APPLETON, Wis. (WEAU) -- The First Lady of the United States made a stop in the dairy state Friday.

Michelle Obama spoke to a crowd at Lawrence University in Appleton Friday afternoon.

She spent her time encouraging the audience to help organize their communities between now and the November 6th election.

In a campaign that has mostly focused on the economy, she also touched on the President’s thoughts on wealth and helping others creates opportunities.

This is the Michelle's second trip to Wisconsin in four weeks.

She was in the Milwaukee area in August when she offered condolences to the families of Sikh worshippers killed or injured by a gunman at their temple.
