First Superintendent candidate takes part in public meeting

People in Eau Claire had the chance to meet one of the candidates for the Eau Claire Area School District Superintendent position Monday night.

At the session at Memorial High School, the crowd got to ask questions to doctor Mary Ann Hardebeck.

She is an Assistant Superintendent in the Loudoun County School District in Virginia.

Hardebeck says one of her biggest strengths is being able to work with the community to solve problems.

Dr. Mary Ann Hardebeck says, "I have a strong track record for being able to bring people together and work with them and it seems that this is the kind of community that would appreciate that kind of approach. I think we might have a good match."

The other candidate, Doctor Mark Mitrovich, will go through the same session Tuesday night.
