Fitness center, open skating available starting October 17


EAU CLAIRE - Get fit, Eau Claire, with the Eau Claire Parks and Recreation Department. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 17, Chippewa Valley residents will have two ways to exercise and reach their fitness goals this fall and winter at Hobbs Ice Center, 915 Menomonie St.
Fitness Center: The fitness center includes weight machines, free weights, stationary bikes, exercise balls, gym mats and an open space room. Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for youths 17 and younger.
Open Skating: Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for youths. Skate rentals are $2. A 15-session punch card is available for $65 for adults and $52 for youths.

The fitness center and open skating are available from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sundays through March 27.
