LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) – Five men, including a La Crosse County Board Supervisor, who were arrested in a prostitution-related sting by police are now free on bond.
La Crosse Police say William Brockmiller, 48, of La Crosse, Jon Hage, 43, of West Salem, Brian Marking, 42, of Lake City, MN, Brian Selke, 42, of La Crescent, MN, and Spenser Nickelatti, 25, of Holmen, were all arrested late Monday afternoon for solicitation of a prostitute.
Brockmiller represents District 11 on the La Crosse County Board, which encompasses part of the City of La Crosse. His biography on the county’s website says he also works as a Labor Market Analyst at the La Crosse Job Center.
Officers say the men had answered an internet ad. An undercover officer and other investigators met the men at an address on Rose Street in La Crosse, where police say they had agreed to pay for sex.
Investigators say they’re still looking into prostitution activity, and that they could make more arrests.
