Five honored for contributions to the lives of children

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Five people in the Chippewa Valley were honored Thursday for the contributions they have made in the lives of children.

The 13th Annual Children's Legacy Luncheon was held Thursday at the Florian Gardens.

Colleen Bates, Chris Hambuch Boyle, Vicki Hoehn, Christopher Stratton and Lisa Walter were all recognized for their efforts on behalf and in support of the children of our community.

The event, through the Eau Claire Community Foundation raises funds to help causes related to children.

WEAU's Judy Clark was honored once again to be the emcee for the event.
