Five people taken to hospital after crash in Rusk Co.

BIG BEND, Wis. (WEAU) -- Five people were hurt in a two-car crash in Rusk County.

It happened around 6:15 Wednseday night at the intersection of Highway 40 and Highway D in the town of Big Bend, southwest of Ladysmith.

Deputies say one of the drivers didn't stop at a stop sign and hit the other car. The five people hurt were taken to nearby hospitals. There's no word on their conditions.
