EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- Dozens of dancers took to the streets to spread the word of kindness Sunday morning.
More than 60 people laced up their dancing shoes and took to South Barstow Street to kick off World Kindness Week.
The group that danced in Eau Claire was just one of the many groups that danced across the United States under the leadership of Life Vest Inside, a non-profit organization on a mission to unite the world with kindness.
“All these movements of kindness everybody's finally realizing there needs to be a change in the world and this is what it takes. It takes us to go out and make that action,” Eau Claire flash mob organizer Travis Dodge said.
Dodge says dancers were able to memorize the routine through videos and in three practices that were set up.
Sixty other cities around the United States and 25 countries around the world also held flash mobs today to recognize the start of World Kindness Week.
