EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (EAU CLAIRE CITY-COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE) -- It is the time of year to protect ourselves and family members from seasonal flu and the complications that it can cause, such as pneumonia or hospitalization.
Flu shots will be given by the Eau Claire City County Health Department at the following locations on specified dates:
Eau Claire County Courthouse/Government Center – Room G034
October 10th, 14th, and 28th from 4-6 pm
October 9th from 10-11:30 am
November 11th, 14th, and 25th from 4-6 pm
November 13th from 10-11:30 am
December 9th, 12th, and 23rd from 4-6 pm
December 11th from 10-11:30 am
St. Mary’s Church in Altoona on October 2nd from 9-11 am
Augusta Senior Center
October 10th from 11:30 – 1:00 pm
October 15th, November 19th, and December 17th from 11-12 pm
Fairchild Senior Living Apartments on October 10th from 10-11 am
Fall Creek Village Hall on October 10th from 2-3 pm
The cost of the flu shot through the City-County Health Department is $29.00. Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage Plans will be accepted as payment. Medical Assistance will be accepted as payment only for those who are not Group Health, Compcare or Security Health Plan members.
