WINONA, Minn. (AP) -- A gymnastics training facility in downtown Winona has been damaged by fire.

Flames could be seen coming from the top of the former YWCA building Thursday at noon. The building currently houses KidSport Gymnastics.

KidSport owner Rob Murray reportedly said no one was inside the building at the time. Murray says an early morning practice was held at the gym and everyone left. The fire was reported by a delivery driver.

The KidSport program attracts young gymnasts from across the state and the region, some who compete at the national level.
