Former employee accused of stealing thousands from bank

DUNN COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- A former bank employee is arrested after deputies say she stole thousands of dollars.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Department says $48,000 was stolen from Bremer Bank by an employee over a period of several years.

The sheriff's department says as part of an investigation with Bremer Bank officials, 31-year-old Amber Goodell, from Eau Claire, was arrested.

She's expected to be charged with theft from a financial institution for her role in the theft and its on-going concealment.
