GOP unfazed with governor's lack of commitment

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker still hasn't committed to serving a full second term but Republicans at the party's state convention don't seem to care.

Walker faces re-election in November. But he's pondering a presidential run in 2016 and hasn't committed to serving a full second term as governor. If Walker were to leave office Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, a former TV news anchor, would take over.

Marinette County GOP Chairwoman Shirley Kaufman says Walker should commit to a full term. But other Republican leaders say Walker's hesitancy is understandable and delegates gave him a standing ovation as he took the stage at the convention Saturday. He made no mention of running for president, but did ask delegates to give him and Kleefisch four more years.
