Gordy’s hosts auction for Feed My People

(WEAU) - Gordy's County Market hosted its 9th annual Feed My People Food Bank Auction Friday.

Some of the items auctioned off were a car and pop up camper, plus gift cards, vacations packages and iPads. The auction is one of the Feed My People largest fundraisers of the year and 100% of the proceeds go directly back to the organization which services 14 counties in Western Wisconsin.

Feed My People Food Bank Executive Director Emily Moore told us “it's such a delight to see the community come together. The business community and all of the folk who come out to bid, come together and raise so much money for Feed My People.”

The goal this year is to raise $80,000.
