“Gotta Vote” Bus Tour stops in Eau Claire

(WEAU) - The Democratic National Committee/Obama For America bus made a stop in Eau Claire Wednesday night.

It was a part of the "Gotta Vote" Bus Tour, which stopped at the UW-Eau Claire campus. Earlier in the day, Delaware Attorney General and Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden made a stop with the bus in Green Bay.

The main message of the stop in Eau Claire was for supporters to vote early for November's election.

DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse told us "We're here to encourage people to get registered to go vote and to obviously vote for the president. We believe the president has moved the country forward. Under his leadership, the country has created 5.2 million jobs in the past 31 months."
