GREEN BAY, Wis. (WEAU) Adults who have a tendency to wander and get lost will now have added protections in Wisconsin, thanks to a new Silver Alert system.

Governor Walker signed a bill in Green Bay Thursday that will give adults the same type of "Amber Alert" system that children have when they disappear.

The bill is designed to protect those who may suffer from Dementia or Alzheimer's.

Law enforcement agencies would send the information to broadcasters and others to quickly get the word out about the missing senior.

The bill passed the legislature with unanimous support.
