Gov. Walker strengthens anti-domestic violence laws

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WEAU) Governor Scott Walker put some more power behind domestic-violence laws Wednesday, by signing three new bills that would create a process for seizing an abuser's guns.

They also require tracking of abuse suspects who have not yet been arrested, and police are now required to inform victims of their options.

One of the bills was introduced after a man shot and killed his estranged wife in 2012 at the Brookfield spa where she worked.
