Governor Walker appoints two district attorneys

Press Release from Governor Walker’s Office

Madison—Today, Governor Scott Walker appointed Taavi McMahon to the position of Trempealeau County District Attorney and Andrea Nodolf to the position of Rusk County District Attorney.

Due to retirements, prior to these appointments there was no acting district attorney in both Trempealeau and Rusk Counties.

The Trempealeau District Attorney's Office says Taavi McMahon has served as Special Prosecutor since Jeri Marsolek resigned in October due to medical issues. It says Sheriff Richard Anderson supports McMahon's appointment.

It says there will be a swearing in ceremony Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Trempealeau County Courthouse.
