Groups collecting diapers and laundry detergent for those in need

(WEAU) - Two groups are collecting disposable diapers and laundry detergent for people in need.

Chippewa Health Improvement Partnership, in collaboration with Chippewa Falls Mission Coalition, began collecting the diapers Friday and will continue to collect them through March 3.

Several area food pantries say they are in urgent need of diapers and laundry detergent. If you'd like to help, there are 10 different churches in Chippewa Falls where you can drop the items off.

Below is the list of churches:

St. Joseph's Hospital, lobby, 2661 Highway I, Chippewa Falls.
Central Lutheran Church, 28 E. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls.
Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 W. Central St., Chippewa Falls.
Christ Episcopal Church, 624 Bay St., Chippewa Falls.
Landmark Christian Church, 4140 126th St., Chippewa Falls.
First Presbyterian Church, 130 W. Central St., Chippewa Falls.
Fellowship Church, 475 Chippewa Mall Drive (Micon Cinemas), Chippewa Falls.
Zion United Methodist Church, 1102 Superior St., Chippewa Falls.
Crossroads Church, 209 South Ave., Chippewa Falls.
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield St., Chippewa Falls.
Jacob's Well, 3211 50th Ave., Chippewa Falls.
