(WEAU) – It was a celebration of all things Harry Potter at UW-Eau Claire Tuesday.
A Harry Potter marathon reading session and costume contest was hosted at the McIntyre Library on the UW-Eau Claire campus. The contest and reading session were held in conjunction with a pair of Harry Potter displays created by an UWEC student.
Organizers say it's a great way to celebrate the novels.
Librarian Eric Jennings told us Tuesday "There's plenty other libraries, universities or colleges, that have done this sort of thing and I thought we should try it here because I think it's a fun way to celebrate reading and literature and it’s just something people really enjoy."
