Heavy rains flood parts of western Wisconsin

LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) -- The National Weather Service says parts of southwestern Wisconsin are flooded.

Two rounds of storms swept through the region on Friday, dumping heavy rain.

The weather service said Saturday that most streets in Boscobel are flooded and many homes have water damage.

Boscobel had received 7.79 inches as of Saturday morning. Steuben, northwest of Boscobel across the Milwaukee River, saw 6.47 inches.

Part or all of the following counties were under a flash flood warning Saturday: Grant, Crawford, Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland.
