Hit and run driver charged in Manitowoc County

MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) -- Charges have been filed against a driver accused in a hit and run crash that lodged the victim in the vehicle's windshield in Manitowoc.

Twenty-year-old Jamie Hang is charged with four counts, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Fifty-six-year-old Steven Gove had just finished delivering newspapers on his tricycle Jan. 25 when he was hit from behind and crashed through the windshield of the car that struck him. Gove says the man drove home, got out of the vehicle and walked away.

Gove was not seriously injured.
