Holiday light recycling offered in Dunn County

Eau Claire, Wisc. (WEAU) - If you've unpacked the Chrismas lights from last year and realized half of them aren't working Dunn County is hoping you'll help keep them out of landfills.

The county is teaming up with the Recycling Association of Minnesota to collect the lights from November 15 - January 28th.

Locations and Hours of Operation:

Dunn County Transfer Station and Recycling Center
E3900 Hwy 29, Town of Menomonie
Mondays 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturdays 7 a.m. to noon

City of Menomonie Drop-Off
1601 Gilbert Creek Road, Menomonie
Tuesdays 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursdays 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturdays 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
