SHELL LAKE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Prosecutors have filed homicide charges against the man accused of driving drunk during a crash that killed two people last summer.

On Thursday, the Washburn County District Attorney filed the charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of A Vehicle against Ed Depies, 26, of Sarona. The crash happened in July 2013. Investigators say Depies was driving more than 120 miles-per-hour when he lost control and rolled his car near the intersection of County Road A and Fred Tripp Road, which is east of Spooner. Molly Undem and Donald Roberts appeared to have been thrown from the car, and died at the scene. Another passenger and Depies were both hurt. They were taken to the hospital. Depies blood alcohol content was tested, and determined to be .075 percent seven hours after the crash.

Depies is due in court next month.
