Hundreds run in the first Thin Mint Sprint and Shortbread Shuffle

EAU CLAIRE, Wis (WEAU) ---Hundreds of people headed to Carson Park Saturday for the first Thin Mint Sprint and Shortbread Shuffle.
The 5k run and 500 meter dash raised around $20,000 for Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes.
Organizers say they hope the event inspires young girls and their families to lead healthy lifestyles.
The overall winners of the 5k Thin Mint Sprint won a cookie jar and thin mints.
