In-person absentee voting starts in Eau Claire County

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) People looking to cast their ballots ahead of the April 1st election can do so starting this week.

The Eau Claire City Clerk's Office says in-person absentee voting began Monday.

Voters who live in the City of Eau Claire can cast their ballot at City Hall during normal business hours.

Those who do not live in the city can vote at their Municipal Clerk's Office.

"If they are registered to vote they just need to come down to City Hall if they aren't registered they need to fill out a voter registration application and provide proof of residency," says Cindy Anderson, Election Specialist.

In- person absentee voting will run until next Friday.
