Independence man arrested for child porn possession
Police say they arrested Trevor Allen Shay for possession of child pornography after an undercover investigation.

(WEAU) - Police arrest an Independence man on child porn charges.
Police say they arrested Trevor Allen Shay, 21, for possession of child pornography after an undercover investigation. Now officers are going over computers and equipment taken from the home.
Independence police say they worked with Buffalo and Trempealeau County deputies on the arrest and want to hear from parents if they think their child had contact with Shay online. Police say he goes by the name Athena Marie Starrs on social media sites as well.
Police say parents need to monitor their child's activity online to protect them from predators.
