BARRON, Wis. (WEAU) -- An area sheriff's department is trying to find a minivan it believes was involved in several gas drive-offs.
On Wednesday, the Barron County Sheriff's Department posted a message about the incidents to its Facebook page. It says that several area gas stations have had the drive-offs during the last week. Each instance resulted in the driver getting away with more than $100 in gas without paying for it. The minivan the department is looking for is described as gold-colored, with a missing right-front hubcap. The department says it also has a large rust spot on the passenger-side sliding door. The minivan has had both Wisconsin and Minnesota license plates on it.
If you see the minivan, you're asked to call the Barron County Sheriff's Department at (715) 537-3106.
