NEW INFORMATION: Deputies locate escaped Rusk Co. Jail inmate

LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU) -- UPDATE: The Rusk County Sheriff’s Department says Ryan Fredrickson was caught and arrested Thursday afternoon. No other details were released.

LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU) -- Deputies are searching for a jail inmate who left a work site.

The Rusk County Sheriff's Office says Ryan Fredrickson, 23, left the Rusk County Jail Wednesday and reported to Besse Lumber Company in Ladysmith. Co-workers told investigators that Fredrickson left the business around noon and didn't come back to jail. Fredrickson is serving a sentence for making meth.
