It's winter, but get ready for spring at Home & Garden show

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- While outside it still looks like the dead of winter, inside the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center you can get a whiff of spring.

The sports center is hosting its 36th annual Home and Garden show this weekend.

There are more than 220 booths featuring home improvement ideas and garden layouts. You can even get a preview of some of the latest gadgets to help your green thumb.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to meet with contractors, remodelers, the different trades to talk with them about projects you have coming up,” said organizer Jennifer Johnson. “Maybe get some ideas, get out there and see what’s new, the latest and greatest trends in the industry, seminars, great giveaways. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get out and start thinking through spring.”

The event continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $8 at the door.
