Kids hop through rain for the Easter egg hunt

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) --The Easter Bunny along with nearly two hundred kids were ready to take on a little rain this morning. The kids and parents hopping through puddles and mud in the city wide Easter egg hunt.

The event was organized by Chippewa Valley Council,
Boy Scouts of America.
The fourth annual event was held at Carson Park in Eau Claire and included many fun activities for the entire family.

“There's always a little bit of concern when you wake up and it's raining, but we had a great turnout today and the kids had a great time,” said Chippewa Valley Scout Executive Matt Hill.

Some of the highlights of the even were a hobbit house and a visit with the Eau Claire Fun Patrol. And two lucky kids won two bikes.
