WINONA, Mn. (WEAU)-- Another Kmart store is about to shut down as its parent company tries to cut costs.
A Sears spokesman says the Kmart on Highway 61 in Winona will close to the public in mid-October, and the liquidation sale will begin July 27th.
He says the store has 67 employees, and those that are eligible will get severance and can apply for open positions at other Sears or Kmart stores.
Most of the employees are part-time and hourly.
