TODAY: Children's immunization clinic in La Crosee County

NEWS RELEASE FROM LA CROSSE HEALTH DEPARTMENT

A clinic for children’s vaccinations will be held:
August 14, 2012 - 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
West Salem High School – 490 N. Mark, West Salem

Now that school registration has begun, this is the perfect time to get caught up on any vaccinations your children may
need.

The La Crosse County Health Department will be able to access your child’s vaccine history online, to determine which
vaccines are missing or are due for Wisconsin residents. Bring a
current copy of your child’s immunization record.

Vaccines will be available for all childhood and school-required immunizations, and meningococcal and HPV for
adolescents.

There is a $15 administrative fee per child. It will be waived for children who present valid Badger Care/Forward Card.

Who is eligible:
Children through 18 years of age are eligible to receive vaccines through the Vaccines for Children’s (VFC) program with
no charge for the vaccine if they:
1.) Are Medicaid eligible
2.) Have no insurance
3.) Are American Indian or Alaska Native
4.) Or have insurance that does not completely cover vaccines - No one may be denied VFC supplied vaccine for
failure to pay the administration fee
