EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- It's not a Holiday season without fun winter activities, and with the nice, crisp weather today many took advantage of the free "Learn to Ski" day with the Flying Eagles Ski Club.

Around 130 kids participated in the all-day event this year.
The Eagles Club had around 12 people on staff teaching children ages four to ten. And among coaches there were some older ski-clubbers teaching the youngens some skiing tricks.

“It's actually a pretty neat things that this kids teaching other young kids how to ski, and I think they really appreciate that better than listening to myself, an older coach, so the kids are having a blast,” said the Flying Eagles Ski Club coach, Dan Mattoon.

The Eagles Ski Club offers a wide variety of ski sports training throughout the season.
