(WEAU) - Mothers and daughters were able to get some quality bonding time Thursday night while learning the ins and outs of at-home spa treatments.
The Eau Claire Public Library invited girls age 10 to 14 and an adult to come and enjoy a night of spa education and pampering as a part of their Girl’s Night Out event. The girls also learned how to create natural spa products, like exfoliates and masks from inexpensive ingredients, many of which can be found in your kitchen.
Youth Librarian at Eau Claire Library Dayna Lovell says "It's really a nice mother daughter date, especially right before Valentines Day and it's a lot of fun."
The library says this is the 2nd year they've had the program.
