Local salon pampers people to help fight breast cancer

LAKE HALLIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A local salon was pampering people, and raising money to help fight breast cancer Friday night.

All the employees at Bravo Salon and Spa in Lake Hallie were cutting hair, doing massages and polishing nails for charity.

This is the fourth year for the event and all the money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.

"We just kind of want to come together and help the community. But we're raising money toward that, but we do 100 percent donations, so all the girls here are donating their time for that, so it's kind of nice,” says Elizabeth Cerny with Bravo Salon.

The salon was hoping to raise more than $1500 for the American Cancer Society.
