Majority Leader Fitzgerald racks up most travel reimbursements in 2011
Records released Friday show Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald collected $18,128 in 2011, up from $16,544 in 2010.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The Wisconsin Senate's top Republican leader collected more travel reimbursements last year than any other legislator.
Records released Friday show Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald collected $18,128 in 2011, up from $16,544 in 2010.
In the state Assembly, Democratic Minority Leader Peter Barca, Republican Majority Leader Scott Suder and Rep. Robin Vos each collected $13,464. Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald was next with $13,200.
State lawmakers from outside Dane County can collect $88 per day in reimbursement on top of their salaries. Legislators from Dane County can collect $44 a day.
