Man accused of beating up business owner sentenced in Chippewa County

BLOOMER, Wis. (WEAU)-- One of two men charged with beating up a Bloomer business owner was sentenced in Chippewa County court Thursday.

Chippewa County District Attorney, Steve Gibbs, says 21-year-old Andre Demers was ordered to serve three years in prison and three years on extended supervision.

Demers and 21-year-old Nicolas Blisard are accused of attacking the Main Street Cafe owner, Donnie Stoik, in his driveway in March.
