BLOOMER, Wis. (WEAU)-- A man has pleaded guilty to beating up and trying to rob his former boss.
Chippewa County District Attorney, Steve Gibbs, says 21-year-old Nicolas Blisard pleaded guilty Wednesday to 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety and attempted armed robbery.
Blisard and 21-year-old Andre Demers of Chippewa Falls are accused of attacking Main Street Cafe Owner, Donnie Stoik, in his driveway as Stoik returned home in late March. Stoik says Blisard was an employee of his but was fired the previous December.
Demers is scheduled to be in court Friday.
