EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- An Altoona man accused of child abuse was in court Tuesday for his preliminary hearing,
Online court records show that Kevin Tadder, 35, was bound over for court today, after a judge found probable cause that a crime was committed.
Tadder is facing two counts of physical abuse of a child.
The complaint says the two children told police that Tadder, who is their mother's boyfriend, would make them stand in a corner, on their tip-toes with their arms above their heads for 8 minutes, and then would make them do push-ups and other exercise as a punishment.
He is due back in court in court August 27.
