Man accused of hiring hit man to hurt ex-wife pleads not guilty

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A man accused of hiring a hit man to hurt his ex-wife pleaded not guilty Thursday.

53-year-old Keith Napolitano made the plea in Eau Claire County Court.
A trial date was also set for April 16th and 17th.

The criminal complaint says Napolitano called his ex-wife and told her he had hired someone to hurt her and another man. The complaint says he allegedly paid a friend $4,000 to carry out the hit.

Napolitano also faces charges after police say he led them on a chase back in June while he was drunk. He's scheduled to head to trial for that case in March.
