Man accused of running over woman charged

BUFFALO COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man accused of running over a woman with his truck is now charged.

30-year-old Lucas Makescoldweather faces one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

The complaint says Makescoldweather had been drinking when he got into his truck, put it in drive, and then accelerated towards the woman, who is 32 years old and from Mondovi. She was flown to the hospital.
