MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A rural Menomonie man is accused of threatening a landlord with a gun.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says Patrick Kirchoff, 28, is in the Dunn County Jail. No criminal charges have been filed in the case. Deputies say they responded to a 410th Avenue in the Town of Menomonie around 11:45 a.m. Thursday on a report of a man who was pointing a gun at someone's head. The landlord of the home told investigators that she was there to talk to the tenants about rent payments. That's when a man started threatening her with a handgun.

Deputies say Kirchoff was uncooperative. Charges they're recommending include domestic disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, marijuana possession, and resisting arrest.
