BIG BEND, Wis. (WEAU) -- The man accused of threatening kids to help get his car out of a ditch earlier this year is now heading to trial.
Online court records show Jesse Rutherford, 28, of Big Bend was bound over for trial Monday.
He's facing charges of first degree reckless endangering safety and false imprisonment.
A third charge was read-in but dismissed.
Deputies say back in May, a church youth group was camping in a yard when Rutherford approached them with a gun.
He's accused of telling the group to get on their knees and help him get his car out of a ditch.
Police say Rutherford let some of the kids go, when they said they would get a truck to tow his car.
That's when they called police.
