Man arrested after his car is found under a bridge

BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- A Barron County man was arrested for OWI after his car was found in the water under a bridge.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department says it got a report early Sunday morning that a car had gone off a bridge on 29th Street, southeast of Chetek.

Deputies found the car, but weren't able to find the driver.
After deputies got a report that the driver was at his home, they say 21-year-old Alex Brodt of New Auburn admitted to losing control and going off the bridge. He had minor injuries and was arrested for OWI.
